Shof is an incredibly talented character artist and illustrator from Lagos, Nigeria. Based in San Diego, Shof has taken on developing and creating the look of Liyana's world as described by the children in the documentary. He is using both 2D and 3D software to to create a remarkably unique visual style for the animated portion of the film.

These images show a variety of both 2D and 3D work from Shof's portfolio that originally caught our eye.

Not only is he a wonderfully talented and skillful artist, but he also happens to be a delightful human being who has quickly become a dear friend! We've never felt so in sync with an artistic collaborator before, and are continually impressed with his intuition, ideas, and drive.

Shof shares our passion for telling beautiful and positive stories of Africa, and giving African children new heroes they can be proud of. We are excited to be working towards those goals together.

Everything that Shof is creating for Liyana's story is under wraps until the big reveal. We can assure you it will be worth the wait. The new images he's making are like nothing we've ever seen! We couldn't be more excited!
