We're back from a whirlwind trip to Swaziland to record original music for our film!
We are delighted to announce that we've brought on our dream composer, the brilliant Philip Miller! He is from South Africa and has composed music for amazing films such as "Mother of George" and "Catch a Fire."
We met up with Philip in Swaziland to record with traditional musicians and some very talented young vocalists. It was an intense schedule but we managed to fit 14 musicians into a very limited time at the Lusweti studio!

One of the coolest parts of the process was that we got to include some girls who live on the farm where we shot the film: Yenzie, Lynette, & Nosipho. They have lovely voices, and came dressed for the part!

This is Lusekwane, the talented player of a traditional drum named the Ingulube.
We are thrilled with the innovative ways that Philip is incorporating traditional Swazi elements into the score. We can't wait to share the film with all of you… but we have to finish it first!
